Model AKF-FT/FZ Tefzel Lined Flanged Sight Flow Indicator
Flanged Lined SFI — ANSI 150#, 300# and 600# with Tefzel (ETFE) Lining
The Model AKF-FTFZ Tefzel Lined Flanged Sight Flow Indicator has a cast body with a TEFZEL® fluoropolymer resin lining. TEFZEL® is inert to strong mineral acids, inorganic bases, halogens, and metal salt solutions, making it ideal for highly corrosive process media.
TEFZEL® has excellent mechanical strength, stiffness, and abrasion resistance with an effective temperature range from -370°F (-233°C) to 300°F (150°C). The bonded lining provides full vacuum to 1480 PSIG service capability.
This sight flow indicator provides visual observation and monitoring of the process flow stream. Available devices to enhance visibility include drip tube, flapper, and rotator. Bodies are available in Bronze, Iron, Steel, and Stainless Steel.
