Weld-On Obround Sight Window — Maximum Viewing Area for Vessels, Tanks & Piping
The Model TLG-OB is an obround sightglass designed to provide maximum viewing of vessel or tank contents. The obround (oval) shape delivers a significantly larger viewing area than circular sight windows of equivalent width, making it ideal for applications where broad visual inspection of process contents is required.
These units conform to ASME code requirements and are manufactured using ASME-acceptable materials. Model TLG-OB sightglasses are designed for welding onto ASME code and non-code pressure vessels, piping, or tank walls. They are suitable for use in both vacuum and pressure applications.
Available in various materials of construction. Custom designs are available for higher pressure ratings, special sizes, and cylindrical radiused weld pads.
