UL-Listed Explosion-Proof LED Lighting for Critical Process Visibility
The EX99-LED is a UL-listed hazardous location LED luminaire engineered specifically for process sight glasses, flow indicators, manways, and environmental chambers. It delivers powerful, focused illumination while operating safely in Class I hazardous areas where flammable vapors and gases are present.
Unlike ordinary industrial LEDs, the EX99-LED is designed as a true process instrument. A patented Thermal Management Structure (TMS) actively pulls heat away from the LED engine and electronics, extending life and ensuring safe surface temperatures in explosive environments.
The high-power CREE™ COB LED engine delivers 1300 lumens at >93 lumens per watt with a 4000K neutral white color temperature — producing bright, natural-looking illumination that makes fluid clarity, bubbles, color changes, and contamination easy to detect.
High-grade optics produce a tight 26° beam angle (FWHM), delivering concentrated light exactly where operators need it inside the process window. The cast aluminum housing features two physically isolated compartments (electronics and wiring) for maximum safety and reliability. The viewing window is borosilicate DIN 7080-16 glass.
