Maintain Accurate Readings in Temperature-Sensitive Applications — Internal and External Tube Designs
For viscous products or fluids that solidify, crystallize, or become too thick to read accurately at ambient temperatures, Northeast Controls offers heated and cooled gauge designs. These configurations maintain the process fluid in the gauge chamber at the proper temperature for accurate, reliable level indication.
INTERNAL TUBE DESIGN (Model IHT) — The heating or cooling medium passes through an internal tube located inside the gauge chamber. This design provides efficient heat transfer directly within the liquid chamber, making it ideal for highly viscous materials that require consistent temperature maintenance throughout the gauge body.
EXTERNAL TUBE DESIGN (Model H) — The heating or cooling medium circulates through tubing attached externally to the gauge body. This design is well-suited for applications where the heating medium must be kept separate from the process fluid, or where the internal tube design is not practical.
